My name is Maria Romeo ex Yelp Employee & Review Expert - I would like to take this time to respond in the defense of Island Puppies. It was brought to my attention from the owners that they had been targeted by Yelp with bad reviews on their website. I am a former employee of Yelp and know all there tactics to make money. They take advantage of small business by forcing them to advertise on their site to get rid of bad reviews. In The past 10 years Island Puppies Reviews have been outstanding. Island Puppies has some of the best testimonials and happiest customers. I know this first hand because I personally bought my 3 puppies from them and referred at least 10 different people who bought their dogs from them and were extremely happy as well. Yelp is known for their bad reviews and poor system algorithms. Just look at these reviews and notice how all the good reviews are hidden in an area call "filtered reviews" This is a disgrace! I was one of the people who wrote a review however it was rejected and hidden to a part of the page where it would be near impossible to be found. Over the years Island Puppies explained to me there have been some cases where Island Puppies was mistaken for Tcup Island which has no affiliation with them. This has been their only concern however people have been able to decipher between the two. Yelp has been on CNBC, FOX NEWS, CNN, and other mainstream news channels which discussed Yelps poor review rating system which was found to be unfair. Yelp might as well be known as an internet terrorist that puts businesses into their bondage so they can make more money. There is a class action law suit against Yelp from Long Island Business Owners regarding long Island Yelp reviews. Hopefully the good internet advertising companies will not have to wear the black eye for Yelp such as companies like GOOGLE. Unfortunately the internet has its pros and cons however a company like Yelp only acts like a budgie which is a small bird that sits on the back of a cow eating the fleas and tics just to get a free ride! Its Horrible What They Do!
